from the dining table

The shoot with Arnel was very awkward for he still doesn’t know how to pose in front of the camera but the good thing in this shoot is that he is very game to the poses that I asked him to do. We walked the streets of Intramuros just to find a good spot and indeed Intramuros is still very beautiful.

s/o to my Manila girl Nicole for accompanying us ❤

(The title may look weird for this but I was listening to this particular song while editing this blog post and mostly I—Pearl, use song titles or verses.)

lights will guide you home

After a long period of convincing one of our friends to pose for us, we were finally given a chance to take a two-hour shoot (set up and test shoot included) with her. Bea Nolasco, the model/subject, was our classmate in grade school and High school (for Nina because Pearl transferred to another school) I remember that Bea was our class muse back then because of her beauty and kindness. Since we don’t have enough budget for the shoot we used mobile flashlights to work with the light. It was challenging and fun at the same time!
